Matt here with a new Update for you! Space Junkers have expanded their prospecting empire and bring with them loads more Blocks! As well as the new Blocks, Rusty has also got some new missions for you to complete.

There are some new work-in-progress R&D Labs Blocks for you to test out, including Ornithopter wings!

  • Updated the Grade and Rarity of the majority of initial Space Junkers blocks from last update
  • Space Junkers One Block, Space Junkers Two Block & Space Junkers Four Block received a buff in HP
  • Space Junkers Geode Rumbler, Space Junkers Junkyard Rainmaker & Space Junkers Rustic Cannon received a buff in HP & DPS

In Update 1.5.2 we introduced a new Quality of Life Feature: Input Commands! These are a way for players to easily make simple changes to their game with the use of commands that they input into an in-game console. This is all just a fancy way of saying we added cheat codes!

Below you’ll find a table with all the current input commands, a description of what the command does, an example of how you can use the command and if the command is available in Campaign, Co-op Campaign, Sumo or Deathmatch.

It should all be pretty self-explanatory, however, there is one thing you need to be aware of when using Input Commands. For obvious reasons, most commands are disabled in Campaign, Co-op Campaign, Sumo, Gauntlet and Deathmatch. However, if you enable the “Cheat” command in these Game Modes all input commands will become available. NOTE: If you enable the “Cheat” command while in Single Player Campaign all Steam Achievements will be unachievable for that Game Save.

To use input your Command you’ll need to activate the in-game Console. To do this just double-tap the “`” on your keyboard. From here you can input one of the Commands from the list below. While you input your Command the Console will auto-suggest the Command for you. You can scroll through the list of Commands that auto-suggest suggests by using the arrow keys and then press TAB to confirm your selection. Then just hit enter and your Command will execute.

Let’s take a look at an example:

You build an awesome Tank in Creative Mode and there are tonnes of loose Blocks around, getting in the way. You can use the Cleanup Command to easily clear all these loose Blocks.

So double-tap ` to open the in-game Console.

When you start typing the command, in this case "C", the Console auto-completes the Command with commands that also start with "C". In this case CancelCurrentQuest

You can use the arrow keys to scroll to the Command you want then hit TAB to confirm the Command.

I only want to clear an area of 50 meters around my Tech so I add 50 at the end of the Command.

Then you just hit Enter and watch all the loose Blocks disappear right before your eyes.

It does require battery power to use.

After the events of HUBL, BUBL and TRUBL we haven’t seen, or heard, from HUBL.

Until now! They sent an emergency transmission during one of our TerraTech Dev Livestreams with a mysterious message. They’re off-planet and require assistance.

Where have they been all this time? What have they been doing? What can we possibly do to help?

Since then they have sent numerous other messages that don’t seem to make any sense.

We’ve got a new Update for you! Update 1.5.4 includes a much-requested new Snapshot Folder system as well as some new Graphics Options.

New Feature:

  • Added Vsync and Max Framerate settings to Graphics Options
  • Allow TimeOfDay commands to be used in Co-op

Hey Prospectors,

Matt here with some not-so-good news for you I’m afraid. Unfortunately, we’re going to have to delay Update 1.5.2, aka The Community Update, for TerraTech. The reason is a bit long and tedious but the TL;DR is that due to a major bug creeping its way into the last TT_Unstable version we’re going to bundle the content that was going into 1.5.2 into what would have been Update 1.5.3. This effectively means that rather than having two awesome updates there will be one super awesome update, just a bit later than you may have been expecting. We’ll have more info on when the update will be released in the near future but in the meantime, if you’d like to play around with the content that would have gone into this release you can have a look at the latest TT_Unstable Version. Details on how you can access the TT_Unstable version can be found here:

NOTE: The bug occurs if the host of a Co-op Campaign game saves and restarts a server. When loading that save there will be lost Blocks and Techs. So if you do want to play around with the new content maybe stay away from the Co-op Campaign for now, otherwise, you may lose Blocks and/or Techs. You can always revert back to the latest Stable Release, Update 1.5.1, to continue your Co-op Campaign.

So just to recap, here is the list of content that is now going into Update 1.5.2 (just a bit later than we planned):
